About FitMyPhoto
Online forms reject photos for small reasons: a file a few KB too big, the wrong pixel size, a PNG instead of a JPG. FitMyPhoto fixes exactly that, and nothing more.
How it works
Your file is read and processed inside your own browser. It is never uploaded. The tool first checks the file against the form's rules. If it already passes, you get the original back untouched. If not, it changes only what is needed: converts the format, crops to the right shape (you choose the area), resizes and compresses. The finished file is checked again before you can download it.
Where the rules come from
Every form preset is taken from an official source, linked on its page with the date we last checked it. When a rule changes, we update it. If your notice says something different, follow your notice and use Custom size.
